Poem by Camille Chandler The sun is on the horizon and a warm summer breeze blows kisses in the wind Nearer and nearer I see the manatee making wakes in the ocean blue The magnificent manatee is joyous on this occasion...For today two of the same babes were born within one conch shell A mirror image of the other button noses....wisps of hair that curl in the mist of the humpback whale....Each a fantail beauty that twinkles and dances on the bed of an ocean blue Babes... mermaid twins....shadows of the other... In likeness ....they are captivating....in difference...they are as unique as their tails that set them free....Fins that swim with grace and wonder... The two....bound to the other.... For they are sisters of the sea.... and as they venture into the vast oceanic blue.... They sing the song of the humpback whale ...for they are home in all that they know and love ~Camille
